Life is full of examples we could use to illustrate the point that we need to be in the right mental state to accomplish what we desire.  We could use a very simple example, or a complex example, to prove the point.  It matters not how difficult the task, it only matters if you believe you can accomplish the task or not.  We all accomplish tasks all day long, some we really give thought to, some we do without giving a thought at all.

If you are reading this, then you believed that, when you opened your eyes from sleep today, that you could see.  You did not even give it a thought, it was taken for granted that when you opened your eyes, you could see.  That is a thought that your mind has grown to believe without giving it a thought.  Everyday since you were first born your brain has become conditioned to believe that every time you open your eyes, you could see.  That is an example of something all of us  can see,  have come to believe, and is an example of something simple we believe.

I am now going to give you an example from my own life. I know that most would say is impossible, but I am here to tell you, it is possible, as long as your mind is right in believing.  I attended a Tony Robbins seminar some years back in LA.  It was an Unleash the Power seminar and I thought it was fantastic.  The seminar was June 10-14, 2005 to be exact.  The first day was a Friday, and  on Friday night there was the Firewalk experience, a metaphor for mastery over fears and emotions.  I actually did do the Firewalk, and I can tell you the experience was as real as any experience you could have.  I walked across 2,000 degree hot amber’s without even so much as a blister on my feet.  I did not even feel any discomfort.  Tony taught me, that if I could get my mind believing that I could walk across that fire, that I could, he did, and I did.  I know most of you would think that that would be impossible to do.  I know you are thinking back to anything hot that you have touched and got burnt, or felt the heat, and are thinking to yourselves that I am full of it.  The one thing that you are not thinking about though, is the state of mind I was in, when I walked across the fire, and the state you were in when you got burnt.  When you got burnt, you actually thought you would, and when I walked across the fire, I knew I would not even feel the heat.

So let me sum up this post and the reason for it.  I state that if you have the right mind set that you can accomplish anything that you desire.  The only requirement is that you believe.  Remember the simple example I gave you about opening your eyes and you could see.  Then the last example of the Firewalk and not getting burnt.  The one thing they both have in common is the belief in the outcome.  You opened your eyes and believed you could see.  I walked on fire and knew I would not get burnt.

We all face thoughts of belief and non belief all day long.  If you really want to accomplish something in your life, the first thing you must do is believe that you can accomplish it.  It matters not what the desire, only the belief in it.  So if you want to have a life like a Millionaire, you only need to start with the belief that you can.  I know it sounds simple, and I am here to tell you that it also requires a lot of action as well.  But, if you know that you can, you are right, you can.  So now you know why I choose the title,  Are we there yet.  I want to get you to understand that if you are there, right in your thoughts, then you are able to do anything you desire.
